HKS xBE

HKS created HKS xBE, our diversity and inclusion partnership program, to cultivate stronger working relationships with a larger community of diverse project collaborators. By contributing to a more equitable profession we will invite a wider range of perspectives to enrich our practice, foster innovation, and increase the community value of our work. We invite firms to join our xBE network, and we invite individuals to enroll in our 12-week xBE Rise course.

xBE Network

We invite xBE firms, inclusive of all disadvantaged businesses, to join the xBE Network. Our goal is to understand your expertise and business goals so that we may collaborate on future work together. Eligible firms will hold one of the following certifications: Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB), Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB), Disability-Owned Business Enterprise (DIS), Small Business Enterprise (SBE) or LGBT Business Enterprise (LGBTBE).

xBE Rise

We invite individuals who work for an xBE firm to enroll in our 12-week xBE Rise course. The purpose of the course is to learn how we might partner most effectively together, so that we are better positioned to serve clients and deliver industry-leading work together. By cultivating stronger relationships with xBE partners, we will deliver industry-leading projects to our collective clients and communities. We also hope to transform the profession of architecture to become more diverse, equitable and inclusive.
